Additional Information

Payment and Insurance Receipts

Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque, Debit or Credit Card. We can print statements for insurance purposes when requested. However, we are unable to bill directly to your insurance company. 

Our services are not covered by OHIP, however, many private insurance companies provide full or partial coverage under extended health care packages. Most insurance companies no longer require a physician’s referral. Please check your individual policy.

The client pays for their treatment at the time of receiving the treatment and the front desk staff provides an official receipt for the client to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.

Insurance companies are very familiar with the statements that we issue for service.

Gift Certificates

Our office has gift certificates available for any service that we offer. Please call 613-264-0616 or come into the office if you would like to purchase a gift certificate.

Motor Vehicle Accident Claims

Under the new “no-fault” automobile insurance, potential coverage has increased for treatment of injuries sustained in automobile accidents. Direct billing to the insurance company may be available in the case of motor vehicle accidents. Please speak to us about your individual case. Please call our office for more information before your appointment time as there is specific paperwork that needs to be filled out when you arrive.

Appointment Timing

If you are a new patient to the office for massage or chiropractic, please come 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time as their will be paperwork for you to fill out. The doctors and therapists will also need to do a thorough health history with before proceeding with treatment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to make an appointment, please let us know 24 hours in advance so we can schedule someone else in your place.  Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in a missed appointment fee.

We do understand that unexpected situations do arise.  If you fall ill or driving conditions are not good due to weather on the day of your appointment, please call us as soon as possible to cancel your appointment. Life is busy and schedules change so please feel free to send a friend in your place.

Late Arrivals

If you know that you will be running late for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. For massage clients, if you arrive late your treatment will still end at the scheduled time.

Parking

We are located at 5 Gore Street West between Foster Street and North Street. Parking on Foster and North is free for 2 hours. Parking is also free for 2 hours in front of our office on Gore Street, but past North Street there is metered parking.
